Maybe you're known as a "nice" leader - the one who's easy to work with, always understanding, and keeps the team happy. But deep down, a part of you feels unseen. You're respected, but perhaps not fully recognised. It's as if you're in the room but not fully taking your place at the table.

While being "nice" might seems to keep things running smoothly, it can mean staying quiet in meetings, holding back your ideas, or sacrificing your time to for others' tasks.  It can lead to burnout, frustration, a feeling of being taken for granted. It reinforces that internal voice telling you that you have to keep proving yourself.

I know what it's like to feel that constant need to prove myself, thinking "nice" was the path to respect and success.

For years I focused on being helpful, gaining more professional accreditations, pursuing self-development, thinking it would help me advance. But this mindset held me back and led me to burnout.

Over time, I learned that stepping into my true power meant breaking down those internal ceilings and rewriting my own rules.
